Le workshop MagellanPlus intitulé « Drilling an active hydrothermal system of a submarine intraoceanic arc volcano » s’est tenu du 15 au 17 novembre 2012 à Lisbonne.

Ce workshop organisé par Wolfgang Bach et Cornel de Ronde avait pour but de construire un proposal IODP sur le forage d’un système hydrothermal actif situé au niveau d’un volcan d’arc sous-marin intra-océanique.
